State Senator Steve Wilson of Maineville paid tribute to the swimmers from Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy who triumphed in the Division II State Championship. In a statement given during a ceremony in the Senate, Wilson expressed his admiration for the swimmers' performance, highlighting their remarkable achievements.

"I was honored to have this high achieving group of swimmers in the Senate," noted Wilson. "This is an exceptional group of student-athletes who have set remarkable achievements, and I look forward to watching their future accomplishments both in and out of the pool."

The achievements of the team were numerous. Swimmers Taylor Bacher, Sophia Fink, Julia Shafer, and Posey Sollmann achieved victory in the 400m freestyle relay. Additionally, Shafer excelled by winning the 200m individual medley and the 100m freestyle, while Bacher secured a win in the 200m freestyle event. The accolades underline the team's dedication and skill in their sport.
