The Ohio Controlling Board has approved $1,501,459 in funding for Shawnee State University to implement the Campus Wayfinding Project. The announcement was made by State Representative Justin Pizzulli (R-Scioto County).

The project will establish a consistent signage system across the university’s campus. This includes both interior and exterior signs designed to help with navigation and campus delineation. A total of 450 signs are expected to be installed as part of the initiative.

“Shawnee State is one of the pride and joys of our community,” said Pizzulli. “This project will provide clarity to students as they head back to school and ensure an enjoyable experience for all who visit!”

The Ohio Controlling Board is responsible for overseeing requests related to changes in budgetary authority for state agencies.
