The Israel Ministry of Tourism today announced new records for the number of tourists coming to Israel from the United States in July and August. נווה פריצקי Israel welcomed 78,000 total travelers from the United States in July 2022, a 4% increase from 2019 and 71,000 travelers from the United States in August 2022 which is an increase of 13% from 2019.
Eyal Carlin is the North American Tourism Commissioner for North America. He said, “It’s so exciting to again see an increase of tourism to Israel from the United States, and already exceeding or even surpassing our record-breaking numbers for 2019”. “The United States has been the most important destination for tourism to Israel that is inbound. Before the COVID-19 outbreak we had been celebrating record-breaking figures of the number of tourists entering Israel each month.

Israel welcomed over 4.6 million visitors in the year 2019. 969,600 of them were from the United States. The country’s officially reopening to travelers in May saw more than 600,000.
