The City of Chillicothe was awarded $3.5M of Congressionally Directed Spending for our Wastewater Treatment Plant improvements. These funds will go towards updating several deteriorating and obsolete processes and provide improved services to residents, businesses, and industries in and around Chillicothe. This award was the largest single Ohio project funded within the Interior subcommittee and nearly 30% of that total award. A big thanks to U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown who worked to request and secure this funding for our community. Great news for the residents of Chillicothe!
