City of Jackson recently issued the following announcement.
The City of Jackson is accepting sealed proposals for its Health Insurance Program (includes Health, Dental, Vision, and
Life Insurance Options). Effective date of new insurance will be April 1, 2022.
Various options will be considered. The City will make a final determination of the most suitable policy to adopt. The City
will consider alternate proposals that include Health Care Savings Accounts (HAS) and a conversion of the exiting Max
105 Funds.
The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals submitted.
Present polices may be examined at the Office of the Director of Public Services, 145 Broadway Street, Jackson Ohio
45640. Please contact Tonia Hatten at hr@jacksonohio.us or 740/286-2201 for additional information. Sealed proposals
will be accepted beginning February 7, 2022 but no later than March 7, 2022 at 2pm. All proposals will be opened and
read publicly with the City’s Health Insurance Committee on March 7, 2022 beginning immediately after the closing of bid
acceptance.
