State Senator Shane Wilkin (R-Hillsboro) has been recognized as a Defender of Limited Government by the Institute for Legislative Analysis (ILA). The ILA conducted an analysis of Wilkin's voting record during his tenure in the Ohio House of Representatives in 2022.
