State Senator Steve Wilson (R-Maineville) has announced that $650,000 in funding has been approved for community projects within Senate District 7. The funds were authorized by Kimberly Murnieks, Director of the Ohio Office of Budget and Management.

The Mayerson Jewish Community Center will receive $500,000 to expand its Early Childhood School and Fitness Center. Sycamore Township is set to obtain $150,000 for building a Veterans Memorial at Bechtold Park.

Senator Wilson expressed his support for the initiatives. “Securing funding for these projects is a significant achievement for everyone involved,” said Senator Wilson. “Each of these projects betters the communities they are intended to serve and I look forward to seeing their completion.”

Wilson supported these allocations as part of Ohio’s Capital Budget process.
