The West Liberty Hilltoppers, featuring former Minford High School standout Myles Montgomery, suffered a 52-46 defeat to the Virginia Union Panthers in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament on Saturday, March 14.

This contest, which tipped off at 2:30 p.m. in the Highmark Events Center, marked the first tournament meeting between West Liberty and Virginia Union.
