The City of Chillicothe has been working with the Ross County Land Bank, former Councilwoman Pat Patrick, and the Ross County Health District in hopes to bring the Sixth Ward its first neighborhood park! As part of this planning process, we want your feedback on what the park could look like!

The property, which is currently owned by former Councilwoman Pat Patrick, is in front of City Council to be accepted as a donation for use as a park. The Sixth Ward is the only ward in the city without a park currently.

Learn more about the project, including the expected timeline, and provide your input on the Engage Chillicothe dashboard today! You may also jump to the first survey for input here.

UPDATE: The Council Parks Committee has called a meeting for January 9th at 6:30 p.m. to discuss the acceptance of the property for the park. The meeting will be held at 26 S. Paint Street and the public is invited to attend.
