The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today record-breaking tourism arrivals from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. Israel received 78,000 visitors from the United States during July 2022 which was an increase of 4% over 2019 and 71,000 travelers from the United States during August 2022. This is a 13% increase over the year before.
“It is thrilling to witness a new rise in the number of tourists visiting Israel from the United States, already reaching the record-breaking levels for the year 2019” stated Eyal Carlin, Tourism Commissioner for North America. “The United States is the top market for Israel inbound tourism. Actually, prior to the COVID-19 Pandemichit, we were celebrating record-breaking figures of tourist entry every month. It’s a fantastic positive trend that we’re pleased to witness and expect an upward trend for months to follow.”
