The City of Wellston was just awarded $697,538 in Federal Funds through the Transportation Alternatives Program through the Ohio Department of Transportation. These funds will come available in State Fiscal Year 2025.
These funds will be used as a supplement to the Small Cities Grant, which was awarded to renovate the downtown area. These projects will replace sidewalks, lighting, drainage and parking along Ohio Avenue between 2nd Street and A Street.
