Waverly ranked 892nd among cities in Ohio by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Waverly residents was $22,960 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 2,019 households with a population of 4,294.

The city with the highest median resident income in the state was The Village of Indian Hill with $89,410 per year after adjusting for inflation – $66,450 more than Waverly. It had 2,150 households with a population of 5,876.
