Of the 196 people living in Hanging Rock in 2019, 48 percent (94) were women and 52 percent (102) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the South Ohio News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 77-to-59. In the 65 and over age range, there were 19 females and 19 males.
