Of the 1,034 people living in Winchester in 2019, 57.1 percent (590) were women and 42.9 percent (444) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the South Ohio News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 322-to-278. In the 65 and over age range, there were 139 females and 49 males.
