Cost of college went up for all students at Pickaway Ross Joint Vocational School District

Tuition and fees rose 31.1 percent for 2018-19 at Pickaway Ross Joint Vocational School District, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Ohio students paid $733 to attend the public school this year – $174 more than the $559 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 76 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 28 students received grants or scholarships totaling $132,330 and 33 students took out student loans totaling more than $189,450.

Including all undergraduates (258), 172 students used grants or scholarships totaling $553,066, and 90 students took out $532,449 in federal student loans.
