The University of Rio Grande enrolls 1,666 undergrads

At the University of Rio Grande, 70 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 62 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Rio Grande enrolled 1,704 students in fall 2018, including 1,666 in undergraduate and 38 in graduate programs, data shows. 8.6 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

88 percent of undergraduates are residents of Ohio, and 8 percent are residents of other states. 3 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (76 percent) and Black or African American (3 percent).
