Representative Dave Taylor, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, shared updates on his recent engagements with students and local infrastructure through a series of posts on social media this week.

On April 2, 2026, Taylor visited North Adams High School to interact with students about their studies and views on current events. Later that day, Taylor toured the OVEC-IKEC Kyger Creek Station. In his post dated April 2, 2026, he wrote: “This morning I received a behind-the-scenes tour of the OVEC-IKEC Kyger Creek Station. Kyger has five 217 megawatt generating units that have a total capacity of 1,085 megawatts. On April 3, 2026, Taylor spent time at the University of Rio Grande participating in their Civic Leadership Series. He shared: “It was great spending time at the University of Rio Grande today! I kicked off my time with them by joining their Civic Leadership Series and sharing the work I’m doing in Congress to advocate for Buckeyes’ needs, as well as the importance of civic engagement. The OVEC-IKEC Kyger Creek Station is operated by Ohio Valley Electric Corporation (OVEC), which provides electricity primarily to utilities serving Ohio and Indiana customers.
