Representative Dave Taylor, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from southern Ohio, used his social media account this week to highlight legislative achievements, promote youth engagement in the arts, and recognize military service.
On March 24, Taylor reminded high school students about the approaching deadline for the Congressional Art Competition. In his post, he stated: “Reminder! The following day, on March 25, Taylor announced a legislative milestone regarding broadband access for rural communities. Later that day, Taylor posted a message honoring military service members who have received one of the nation’s highest honors. The Congressional Art Competition is an annual event sponsored by members of Congress to encourage artistic talent among high school students across districts nationwide. The Expanding Appalachia’s Broadband Access Act aims to address digital disparities faced by rural areas such as those in southern Ohio by supporting improved internet infrastructure.
