Representative Dave Taylor, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, recently used his social media platform to promote and announce legislative developments related to immigration and road safety.
On March 18, 2026, Taylor called for support from fellow lawmakers for his proposed legislation. He stated, “I urge my colleagues to vote in support of my Deporting Fraudsters Act today to protect Americans’ taxpayer benefits and hold illegal aliens accountable!”
Later that day, Taylor announced the bill’s progress through Congress. On March 18, 2026, he posted: ” Proud to announce that my Deporting Fraudsters Act has passed the House of Representatives! This bill will hold illegal aliens accountable for their actions by making the act of defrauding the U.S. government or stealing benefits intended for taxpayers a deportable”
The following morning, on March 19, 2026, Taylor shifted focus to road safety initiatives. He participated in a roundtable with the Republican Study Committee and referenced new legislation named after an individual victim. Taylor wrote: “I was honored to join Dalilah, her parents, and my colleagues at a @RepublicanStudy roundtable this morning highlighting the importance of safety on American roads. Dalilah’s Law will honor her and other victims by requiring English Language proficiency requirements for CDL”
These posts reflect ongoing efforts in Congress concerning both immigration enforcement—specifically regarding benefit fraud—and transportation policy focused on language requirements for commercial drivers.
