On Friday, March 13, Malone Pioneers, the collegiate team of former Fairland High School standout Kylee Bruce, were defeated 61-57 by the Northwood Timberwolves in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
The matchup, held at GVSU Fieldhouse at 12 p.m., marked Malone’s first meeting with Northwood in the tournament.
