Bennett Kayser helps Nova Southeastern advance with NCAA Division II tournament win

Former Minford High School basketball standout Bennett Kayser and his Nova Southeastern Sharks secured a 76-66 victory over the Black Hills State Yellow Jackets on Wednesday, March 25, in the NCAA Division II Tournament.

The matchup started at 6 p.m. inside UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse.

Kayser added 11 points, two rebounds and one steal across 18 minutes on the court.

The Sharks will return for their next tournament matchup at 8:30 p.m. Friday, March 27, again at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse.
